Since 2008, Mr. Epps has provided financial advice to individuals and small businesses. In order to ensure individuals and small businesses receive accurate and detailed financial analyses, Mr. Epps founded XNE Financial Advising, LLC in 2011.
As the Founder and CEO of XNE Financial Advising, LLC, Xavier Epps believes in transparency and that financial experts should be honest, transparent and dedicated ONLY to the success of their clients.  Mr. Epps is a graduate of Southeastern University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management and graduated cum laude. His prior experience includes the holding Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Securities Licenses 7 and 63 and currently serving as an IRS Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP), Certified Microsoft Office User Specialist, Intuit QuickBooks Certified User (Pro/Premier Versions) and his company is an authorized IRS e-file Provider.

Mr. Epps has been quoted in U.S. News & World Report, MSN Money in addition to CNN, Forbes, Mint.com, MarketWatch by WSJ, AmericanExpress, Equifax, Bank of America and Fox Business. He has also contributed articles, comments, and economic statistics to other media outlets. Mr. Epps is also the recipient of the 2013 Shorty Award Finance Vox Populi, named 2012 Power 30 Under 30 Honoree for Business, and himself and the company was named Top 100 Personal Financial Experts to Follow on Twitter for 24 consecutive months and recently selected as one of the 2017 93.9 WKYS Top 30 Under 30 Professionals.

Career Highlights:

While serving as a licensed Financial Broker (Registered Representative) for FBR & Co., Mr. Epps research involved market capitalizations as high as $200 billion and as small as $300 million, with total assets from $100 million to $2.1 trillion for financial institutions. Built, forecast and maintained financial models. Assisted with stock valuations and recommendations as well as industry trends for 30 plus companies in the financial industry (e.g., Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, PNC, Wells Fargo, Regions Financial Corp., and others). During Mr. Epps 7 plus year tenure with FBR & Co., the firm generated $3.3 billion in revenues.
During his tenure with National Wildlife Federation as Senior Grants Financial Analyst for one of the largest private, nonprofit conservation education and advocacy organizations in the United States, Mr. Epps was solely responsible for the budgeting, financial analysis, and re-projections for approximately $40 million budget. He provided direct analytical support to CFO, Finance Committee, Directors, and Program Managers across the direct mail, individual philanthropy, gift planning, grants and on-line fundraising.

Mr. Epps later served as the Finance Analysis Manager for one of the region’s largest non-governmental providers (National Children’s Center, Inc) of services for the developmentally disabled, offering an array of services to infants, children and adults in the Washington, D.C. which employed 450+ staff. 

Currently serving in senior role as a public servant for one of the Offices of the Inspector General's. Mr. Epps facilitates negotiation on budget and programmatic issues, to include reviewing, researching and recommending alternative budget strategies. Reviews obligation plans as well as remaining obligations with all of the agencies’ components and supplies representatives data.
