Pamgrace Gachenge is first generation Kenyan-American and the visionary of PAUSE Project 501(c)3 non profit organization. She’s an outgoing and loving woman, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who desires to see BLACK women live in their full purpose and potential. Through her lived experience and observation, she’s seen the harm of self-neglect and self-abuse. Through PAUSE Project, she encourages women to ‘PAUSE’ and put themselves first. She discovered healing and happiness through stillness and self-awareness (clarity of needs, wants, desire including triggers, trauma…etc) paired with a daily self-care practice. Her goal is to build a community of women who support and encourage each other to live in wholeness (mind, body, soul) while being champions of their sexual and mental wellnes.
Additionally, Pamgrace serves as the President/Director of Operations for iLive Healthcare in Rockville, MD. iLive Healthcare provides personalized, quality home care services for seniors, adults, pediatric clients, and their families—focused on achieving optimal health, healing and happiness. She is also the Vice President of Membership for GLAA and a cohort member of the National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) 100 LBGTQ SLG Emerging Leaders.
In her spare time, Pamgrace enjoys YouTube, TED -Talks, journaling, poetry, and being a mother. She loves talking all things entrepreneurship and dreams of being an Angel Investor- like the show, Shark Tank. Pamgrace is a proud believer of Jesus Christ and tributes this organization to her beloved Mother, Father, Uncle, and Grandma!
